Booking, gift card, package & membership policies

Booking & payment
- Online bookings are paid in full when you book. Your time is reserved once payment is complete.
- We accept cards and Raksa gift card codes online, and cards, cash and Zelle in the studio.
- Prices are before NJ sales tax (6.625%). A 3% surcharge applies to credit cards only. No fee for debit cards, cash or Zelle.
- One offer per visit — specials, member pricing, packages and coupons can’t be combined.
- Tips are not included in our prices and are always optional.
Rescheduling, cancellations & refunds
- Reschedule at no cost more than 2 hours before your appointment — your payment moves to the new time.
- Cancellations within 2 hours and no-shows can’t be rescheduled, and the payment is not refunded.
- Payments are non-refundable, except: if Raksa cancels your appointment, you receive a full refund or a new time — your choice.
- Running late? Please call or WhatsApp us. Your session may be shortened so the next guest starts on time; the full price applies.
Gift cards
• Session gift cards (60, 90 or 120 minutes) cover one session of any of our 4 core massages: Raksa Signature, Deep Tissue, Authentic Thai or Relaxing Swedish. Gift card prices include NJ sales tax.
• Want a longer session, a premium massage or an add-on? Just pay the difference at your visit.
• If the buyer added a tip, it goes to the team member who does the massage.
• Value gift cards (from $125) can be used for any service at the current price, including NJ sales tax. Any remaining balance stays on the card.
• Best enjoyed within 6 months. Gift cards remain valid for at least 5 years from the purchase date. No activation, service or inactivity fees.
• Gift cards can’t be exchanged for cash, except where required by law. Please keep your code safe — we can’t replace a code that someone else has used.
Massage packages
- Each package is for one guest — you, or the person you give it to. It can’t be split or shared.
- Packages cover our 4 core massages: Raksa Signature, Deep Tissue, Authentic Thai and Relaxing Swedish. NJ sales tax is charged at purchase.
- 3-visit packages are valid for 6 months; 6-visit packages are valid for 12 months from the purchase date.
- After the package expires, any unused amount you paid can still be used toward services for 5 years from the purchase date.
- Packages can’t be combined with member pricing, coupons or other offers.
- Cancellations within 2 hours and no-shows use one session.
Silver & Gold membership
- Your membership renews automatically every month until you cancel. The monthly fee is charged to the card on file.
- Cancel anytime online with the “Cancel membership” button on our Offers & Memberships page — no phone call needed. You’ll receive an email confirming the cancellation.
- After you cancel, member pricing stays active until the end of the month you’ve already paid for. Monthly fees already charged are not refunded.
- After cancelling, you can join again after 3 months.
- The join fee is non-refundable. Member pricing is for the registered member only and can’t be combined with offers, coupons or packages.
- Gold membership is limited to 100 members. If Gold is full, you can join the waitlist or choose Silver.
- We’ll email you at least 30 days before any change to membership prices or benefits.
Your comfort & health
Raksa offers massage for relaxation only. We are not doctors, and massage is not medical care. If you have a health condition, an injury, recent surgery, are pregnant or are under a doctor’s care, please check with your doctor or primary care provider before booking. Complete the Intake Form before your first visit, and please also remind our team before your session so we can take extra care.
You can ask us to change the pressure, skip an area or stop the session at any time.
You stay covered with a sheet or blanket at all times. For Thai stretching, a soft satin Thai outfit is available if you’d like.
Respect & conduct
- Raksa provides professional, non-sexual massage only.
- Raksa provides professional, therapeutic massage only — no sexual services of any kind, including a “happy ending.” New Jersey regulations prohibit massage therapists from any sexual contact with clients (N.J.A.C. 13:37A-3.5). Raksa reserves the right to refuse or end any session — without refund — if a guest asks for a “happy ending,” makes sexual comments or requests, is disrespectful, harassing or intoxicated, or makes our therapists feel unsafe. Guests who do so will be permanently blocked from future bookings.
- Please do not take photos or recordings in the massage rooms.
- Guests under 18 need written consent from a parent or guardian on the Intake Form, and the parent or guardian must stay on site during the visit.
Privacy
- Your Intake Form and contact details are kept private and used only to provide your service.
- We never sell your information. You can unsubscribe from our emails or messages at any time.
- Online payments are processed securely by our payment provider; we do not store your full card number.
